GROUP DAYS AND MASTER CLASSES

Enjoy the camaraderie of a group shooting day with your friends or family; enhance your marksmanship skills; get the best out of your kit; pitch your skills against each other at long-range…

Group Days

Our group days for four to six shooters with FACs and their own kit who book together can be designed to meet the specific requirements of the group or could be based around a specific theme as follows:

Rifle competency day

Focuses on setting correct zero; improving sight alignment, trigger control, follow through; positional shooting; shooting off sticks; short, medium and long-range shooting out to 850m

UK stalkers day

Focuses on positional shooting skills for deer stalking and hunting between 50-300 metres. The course appeals to those who zero for a specific distance, do not dial for range or wind, and want to learn the essential skills to bring home the venison.

Mountain hunting day

This day is designed for mountain hunters and varmint shooters who are starting to dial for windage and elevation and to learn more about shooting at longer range with small to medium calibre rifles.

Long-range rifle day

The day when we see just how far you and your kit can go. This could be 1,500 metres or further using large calibre rifles and the best ammunition. Typical calibres would be 6.5, 7mm WSM, 300WM, 338 Lapua Magnum or similar with serious match bullets and tactical scopes offering dialling solutions to 1000m+.

WMS rifles can be borrowed FOC if required by prior arrangement. Any WMS ammo used on the day will be charged at competitive retail rates. Only commercial ammo to be used through WMS rifles.

MASTERCLASSES

Our Masterclasses run on pre-set dates for up to 12 clients with FACs and their own kit who can book in individually and are based on building skills for a specific discipline. These include deer stalking, foxing, night shooting, or general shooting skills. Priced competitively these days are designed to give those with some existing competency and their own kit useful tips, advice and practical solutions to further improve their shooting skills.

Masterclasses can be provided on our facilities in mid-Wales and may also be offered on suitable facilities around the country such a local clubs or other shooting ranges. Give us a call for more information.

Testimonials:

“Thank you both very much for the Rifle Shooting Master Class which was extremely well run with friendly, helpful instruction and essential safety points. You have clearly put a lot of effort into providing excellent facilities and I thank you for that.”
RobinK, Essex

“Despite years of shooting experience and being a confident shot I learnt a huge amount on the WMS Deer Stalking and Foxing Masterclasses I have attended. These days are great value for money, exceptionally well thought out with each learning stage explained, techniques demonstrated, and ‘trade secrets’ shared. Andrew is a superb coach and I’m using techniques learned at WMS in my work as a Head Gamekeeper. I can’t recommend these Masterclasses highly enough.”
Jonathan D, Nottinghamshire
